In this session Steve Liang from the University of Calgary will discuss research with the American Department of Homeland Security on the next generation first responder (NGFR) support system project and the how cities deal with the authenticity of sensor data and smart contracts.

In this session Samuel Reid from the Decentralized Energy Blockchain advisory group will be discussing the case of ReWatt power. ReWatt Power is involved in upgrading decentralized energy systems and exploring new revenue streams by streamlining and simplifying the verification and trading of green attributes like Carbon Offsets, Renewable Energy Credits (RECs), and Energy Efficiency Credits.
