About CTF
Cyberattacks are on the rise globally and cybersecurity is one of the greatest challenges facing the world today. In response to this challenge, we are training our students to understand how hackers can get inside and how they can defend against hackers. One of the best ways of training is to have a cybersecurity capture the flag (CTF) event.CIC is inviting all undergraduate Computer Science, Software Engineering and Information Technology Students across Canada to participate “Individually” in a CTF online competition qualifier in June. The top 20 qualifying students will be invited to the final online contest in August.
